Efficacy of twice-daily dosing of econazole nitrate 1% cream for tinea pedis

This study was conducted to determine the efficacy of twice-daily applications of econazole nitrate 1% for the treatment of tinea pedis within a typical podiatric practice. The study showed that twice-daily application of econazole nitrate 1% is an effective therapy and is especially successful at preventing immediate fungal recurrence.
