Performing a workers' compensation medicolegal evaluation

The purpose of this article is to familiarize the reader with the elements and parameters of a worker's compensation medicolegal evaluation. Physicians play a critical role in the determination of whether an alleged injury warrants compensation and vocational training. The author provides information that will assist the physician who is called on to make such a judgment.
